How far would you go to guarantee your child’s future? 

Upon receiving her son’s first published book, Kiko decides to tell her best friend Midori about a shameful secret from their childhood, how she “made a deal with the devil” for her son’s future.

We are in the last stages of post for our Japanese adaptation of a Stephen King story. The adaptation is from a short story from Nightmares and Dreamscapes, a collection of short stories. It was optioned as part of the Dollar Baby program, in which promising filmmakers can create short films for the festival circuit. I am very excited to participate in this program as the program has been discontinued after successfully running for over a decade.
